Section President - Mary-Helen Douglas
Mary-Helen Douglas earned bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry from The University of Louisville and a masters degree in Systems Engineering from The University of Arizona. Mary-Helen is a Principal Systems Engineer and Program Manager at Raytheon Technologies in Tucson, Arizona. During her 20 years at Raytheon, Mary-Helen has worked in the areas of cost estimating, integration, verification and systems engineering. She joined SWE in 2011 and served on the Tucson section executive council as the FY18 vice president and secretary, FY19 vice president and section representative, and FY20 president elect. She is currently serving as president. |
Vice President - Jennifer Renee Davis
Jennifer Renee Davis earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Jennifer is a New Product Improvement Aftermarket Parts Engineer at Caterpillar Tucson Mining Center in Tucson, Arizona. During her 12 years at Caterpillar, Jennifer has worked in in areas of Logistics, Quality, Prove Design, Configuration, and Life Cycle Management. She became active in SWE in 2016 and currently serves as FY20 Vice President of the Tucson, AZ section. |
President-Elect - Prathima Gollapudi
V. Prathima Gollapudi brings in an international academic and career experience with a master’s degree in Lean Manufacturing Engineering from University of Kentucky (2006) and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from India (2004). She is currently working as a Senior Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. In her 12-year career, she has held job roles in various domains - Machine Design, Virtual Manufacturing, Immersive Visualization, Extended Value Chain and Total Cost of Ownership. She has been an active member for the SWE Central Illinois Professional Development Committee since 2014 and has now moved to Tucson, AZ. She is excited to continue serving with the same committee. |
Secretary - Annette Gaynes
Treasurer - Nicole Lund
Nicole Lund received her BS in Physics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and then moved on to the University of Oklahoma to complete a MS in Meteorology. For her thesis, Nicole investigated what types of hydrometeors were present in regions where lightning was initiated in thunderstorms. Upon completing her degree, Nicole entered Raytheon's Rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program, where she worked for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems in Boston, MA, Raytheon Technical Services Company in Indianapolis, IN and Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ. After finishing the two year leadership program, Nicole chose to stay in Tucson and continue working as a Systems Engineer. Nicole joined SWE in 2010 and became actively involved in her local SWEsection holding the positions of RUN dinner committee chair, Section Representative, Vice President, President and Treasurer. |
