President - Prathima Gollapudi
V. Prathima Gollapudi brings international academic and career experience with a master’s degree in Mechanical & Lean Manufacturing Engineering from University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from India. She is currently working as Value Chain Synchronization Manager at Caterpillar Inc. In her 15-year career, she has held job roles in various domains - Machine Design, Virtual Manufacturing, Immersive Visualization, Engineered Value Chain and Total Cost of Ownership. She is also the Diversity & Inclusion Champion for her division, focused on culture shifts for a balanced representation of all and a thriving environment to attract & retain talent. Prathima has been an active member in SWE since joining the Central Illinois section in 2014 serving on the Professional Development Committee. She joined the Tucson section in 2018 and has served the in the following roles:
- President (FY22)
- President-Elect & Membership Committee Chair (FY21)
- Professional Development Committee (FY19–FY20)
Prathima was recognized by the Society in FY22 with the WE Local ELITE award for career technical leadership. She was also recognized by the section with the FY19 Tucson Section Distinguished Member Award for her support of the Professional Development Program and STEM volunteering in the community through the Junior Achievement Program.
President-Elect - Mary-Helen Douglas
Mary-Helen Douglas earned bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry from The University of Louisville and a masters degree in Systems Engineering from The University of Arizona. Mary-Helen is a Department Leader within the Systems Integration & Test Weapons & Platforms Center at Raytheon Technologies in Tucson, Arizona. During her 21 years at Raytheon, Mary-Helen has worked in the areas of cost estimating, integration, verification, systems engineering and program management. She joined SWE in 2011 and has served on the Tucson section executive council as the FY18 vice president and secretary, FY19 vice president and section representative, FY20 president elect and FY21 president. Mary-Helen is a 2020 recipient of the SWE Spark Award and was named a 2021 Volunteer of Excellence by the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona for providing STEM badge work opportunities for girl scouts of all ages in the Vail Area remotely during the pandemic. She is currently serving as Tucson president elect.
Vice President - Jennifer Renee Davis
Jennifer Renee Davis earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Pima Community College. Jennifer is currently employed by ACS International in Tucson, AZ as a Purchasing Manager. Previous to that Jennifer spent 13+ years at Caterpillar working in areas of Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality, Prove Design, Configuration, Life Cycle Management, and Supply Collaboration. Jennifer has been a volunteer and supported the SARSEF Science Fair, an advocate and contributor to the United Way Organization, and a Junior Achievement Ambassador. Jennifer joined SWE in 2016 and became actively involved serving in the following roles:
- Tucson Section Vice President (FY20-FY23)
- Tucson Networking Committee Chair (FY19-FY22)
- WE Local Host Committee San Diego FY20 and Albuquerque (FY21-FY22), serving as chair of the WE Local Awards Committee for SD and SWENext Chair for ABQ.
- SWE Anaheim IIBI Tucson Section Representative (FY19-FY20)
- SWE Distinguished Service Award (FY21)
Jennifer spends her free time traveling with her spouse, playing the piano, roller skating, and playing pickleball.
Secretary - Elaine Reeves
Elaine Reeves earned bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, Physics, & Music Performance from the University of St Thomas and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. Elaine has over 12 years of experience working as an EMI test and compliance engineer at Element Engineering and Microsoft. Currently she is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Raytheon Technologies in Tucson, Arizona working in Electromagnetic Effects. Elaine has been involved in SWE for 20 years. She has been engaged as a student and professional at sections in Minnesota, Pacific Northwest and Tucson in the following roles:

- SWE Pacific Northwest President-Elect (FY18)
- SWE Pacific Northwest Section Representative (FY16-FY17)

Treasurer - Nicole Lund
Nicole Lund received her bachelor of science degree in Physics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and then moved on to the University of Oklahoma to complete a master’s degree in Meteorology, Nicole entered Raytheon's Rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program, where she worked for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems in Boston, MA, Raytheon Technical Services Company in Indianapolis, IN and Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ. After finishing the two-year leadership program, Nicole chose to stay in Tucson and continue working as a Systems Test Engineer until 2020. She then received a certificate in Data Analytics from the University of Arizona and joined Geost as a staff scientist. Nicole joined SWE in 2010 and became actively involved in the local SWE section serving in the following roles:
- Treasurer (FY17-FY23)
- President (FY16)
- Vice President (FY15)
- Section Representative to Region B (FY14)
- Relax Unwind and Network (RUN) Dinner Committee Chair
Under Nicole’s leadership as Treasure in FY18, the section established an Endowment Fund with SWE EFI which provides an annual distribution of monies to support SWE Tucson’s operating budget. Nicole was recognized by the Section in FY21 with the Distinguished Service award for her dedicated service to the section leadership team.
